History
The Anália Franco Spiritist Fraternity Center, established in 1995 by a group of friends sharing common ideals of assisting and promoting people in situations of social risk, initially began by distributing soup kitchens in Ary Coelho Square (downtown Campo Grande-MS) to street children and adults. Soon after, recognizing that many of those we served came from the "Greater Los Angeles" area, we decided to develop concurrent activities to also serve this community. Thus, on September 28, 1997, we legally created the Anália Franco Spiritist Fraternity Center and Social Works, a philanthropic, non-profit institution that seeks to provide assistance and social promotion to the entire region. This area is stigmatized due to high rates of violence, drug trafficking, prostitution, alcoholism, and other ills.
